EasyAssist Remote.

EasyAssist Remote Activation is designed for improving the placement of ECV’s which are inaccessible to the customer. It can be easily retro fitted to an ECV in minutes and it allows for the gas to be turned off up to 1m away without the need to relocate the ECV.

EasyAssist Remote can be placed to improve access with units too high, too low or out of reach for customers (e.g. in a cupboard).

Why EasyAssist Remote Makes a Difference.

A simple retrofit solution giving customers safe, easy access to turn off gas, even when the ECV is hard to reach — with a power-assisted handle, thermal cut off and remote stop button.

Customer Benefits.

Improved access

Simple to install without the disruption of moving an ECV

Features include power-assist ECV handle, which requires only a light touch to close automatically

Simple and clear to use

Includes built in thermal cut off, which will activate in the case of a fire

Safety Benefits.

Thermal cut off (TCO) feature built in as standard – tested to GIS-DIN 3586

Variety of temperature ranges available (57°C, 68°C, 79°C, 141°C, 182°C) with 93°C as standard

No impact on pressure or flow

Allowable leakage after a thermal cutoff is 10-100 times less than a standard TCO (due to V7 ECV standard Vs TCO standard)

Handle still included in the design and can be used to manually override if required

Retrofit to a standard ECV within minutes (currently Continental and Sperryn) without the need for a cut-out on a live supply

Benefits for Engineers.

Quick and easy to install.

Reduces the time and effort for ECV relocations

Helps PSR registered customers

Simple to explain to the end customer
